Norman Lawnick Aerospace Education Scholarship

The Letter:                    Your letter will serve as your scholarship application.

Items to Address:        

1. Applying for scholarship.

2. Where you have enrolled to take an aerospace education course.  If not at UCMO, then provide the school name, course name and number, and a point-of-contact.

3. Your teaching assignment, school and location.  K-12 school counselors, since they hold teaching certificates and can conduct classes, will also be considered.

4. What it is that you hope to do or achieve at your school with the knowledge you gain as a result of the course of instruction.

5. An address and telephone number where I may contact you.

General Information:    

I.  The MPA Board of Directors will vote on the awarding of the scholarship at a meeting on May 16, 2010.

II.  After course completion, the teacher having used the scholarship is expected to communicate to MPA, a general critique of the course and its effect on him/her.  This can be done with a brief letter or note.  It will be published in our MPA Newsletter.

III.  Also, the teacher utilizing the scholarship will be invited to be a guest at a monthly Board of Directors meeting and give us feedback directly.  This, however, is not a requirement.
