The regular meeting of the Heartland Chapter of the Missouri Pilots Association was held August 3, at Veva's Restaurant in Rolla, Mo. 35 members and guests attended.
The picnic/social on July 17 was very successful with about 40 in attendance. Special thanks to John Wyss for letting the chapter use his hanger and 'chef' Bob Pritchett for controlling the barbecue.
The chapter was reminded that all members are invited to the state meetings each month in Columbia. Also announced was the Fall Air Tour and USPA Meeting in Branson, scheduled for October.

The chapter made plans for a fall picnic/social on Saturday, September 25 at Rolla National Airport beginning at Noon. We will sponsor a poker run that morning.
Chapter members Don Sneed, Ron Kitchen and Fred Goodwin have accepted the task to organize flyouts for the chapter.
The program for the evening was a video on fall weather flying.
The next meeting will be Tuesday, September 7 at Penelope's Restaurant on Kingshighway (Business 44) in Rolla, MO. Dinner at 7:00 p.m., Program at 7:45.
