28 members and guests attended the September 3rd meeting of the Heartland Chapter of the Missouri Pilots Association. The meeting was held at Shoney's in Rolla.
The program for the evening was Chris Keithley, a UMR Graduate Student in Aerospace Engineering, who discussed the flight simulation facilities at UMR.
The chapter and members sent $170 to the education fund in honor of Wayne Stevens.
October 1st's program will be a video on emergency procedures such as in flight emergencies and emergency landings. The meeting will be at Shoney's in Rolla.
There will be a Young Eagles day at Cuba on October 19th starting at 9am. Alternate date will be Oct 26th. Be sure and let everyone know!
