41 members and guests attended the October 1st meeting of the Heartland Chapter of the Missouri Pilots Association. The meeting was held at Shoney's in Rolla.
For program for the evening was a King video on handling in flight emergencies. The first of 3 in the series.
Correction - the chapter and members sent a total of $220 to the education fund in honor of Wayne Stevens.
After donations and the check to the endowment fund, we have $451 in the treasury.
Program is to be decided on for November 5th meeting at Shoney's in Rolla.
The December 3rd Christmas Party/Meeting will be held at the Guardian Angel Church in Brinktown. Directions and RSVP to be sent via mail. Dinner/party to start at 6:30pm. Bring a $5 gift for fire drill gift exchange.
There will be a Open House and Young Eagles day at the Cuba airport on October 19th starting at 9am. Be sure and let everyone know! Note This was previously announced as being on the 26th. That is the rain date.
