Heartland Chapter - Meeting Minutes

34 members and guests attended the March 4th meeting of the Heartland Chapter of the Missouri Pilots Association. The meeting was held at Shoney's in Rolla.

29 cards are left in teh Joker's Wild deck, with $286 in the pot. Treasury is currently at $499.61.

Pat Bales celebrated her 29th birthday. Again.

EAA's B17 will be in Jeff City July 6-8 this year as part of the fly in.

Bill Taylor presented the program for the evening, which was the ground school portion of a flight review. With this training, which should be good for 6 months, you just need the 1 hr of flight time to finish the bfr. A question was raised about whether whether viagra qualified for the 8hr rule, along with some colorful commentary.

Fred Harms will be presenting a safety seminar on Spatial Disorientation for the April 1st meeting at Shoney's in Rolla.

The current plan is to have the June, July, and August meetings be picnic meetings at local airports. Exact locations have not been decided yet.

We're planning on trying to have 3 EAA Young Eagles days this year. This is still under discussion however, and dates have not been set yet.

The March 4th meeting will be at Shoney's.
