53 members and guests attended the April 1st meeting of the Heartland Chapter of the Missouri Pilots Association. The meeting was held at Shoney's in Rolla.
28 cards are left in the Joker's Wild deck, with $316 in the pot.
Fred Harms presented the program for the evening on spatial disorientation. The program qualifies as the safety program for WINGS participation.
With regards to last meetings discussion about Viagra, it was determined that the FAA's position is that it should be treated similar to alcohol. No less than 6 hours from taking it to flying.
Current plan is to have the May 6th meeting be at Vichy, with a possible tour of the Baron hangar by Ed Schmidt. Members and guests are asked to bring their own chairs and any card tables if they have them. We'll be barbecuing, but any covered dishes are also appreciated.
There is supposed to be a fly-in at Sullivan from 7am to Noon on April 26th.
