35 members and guests attended the July 1st meeting of the Heartland chapter of the Missouri Pilots Association. The meeting was held as a picnic at Cuba Airport.
Program for the evening was a demonstration of the 601XL by Zenith Aircraft.
Jokers wild pot is at 25 cards remaining with $346 in the pot. Last months minutes incorrectly stated 13 cards, those were the odds of getting a joker with 26 cards remaining. Treasury is at $494.
The Young Eagles days were moderately successful, 59 kids were flown at Vichy, and 26 were flown at Cuba.
There will be an all day fly-in at Sullivan on July 12th.
The August 5th meeting will be a another picnic meeting starting at 6:00pm at Cuba Airport. Bring chairs, side dishes, etc. Folks from Jeff City are expected to be bringing some RV's including an RV8 to show.
