MPA President's Message

It's been brought to my attention that everyone does not share Steve Ulsan's opinions. That's a good thing. If everyone agreed it would be boring. It was also recommended we not print Steve's editorials in our MPA News Letter. This is a bad thing. That's my opinion. This is an aviations organization and sometimes things not directly related have a long term affect. Politics, however, have a direct relationship to aviation these days. Due to the recent battle over user fees its obvious not everyone agrees or there would be a bill already passed. Hopefully we will see a new bill passed shortly that we can all live with.

Because I'm president of MPA and Steve president of USPA we have the forum of our respective pages to voice our opinions. You have that forum in your local chapters. Get involved and print your views in your local news letters, they will appear in our monthly news letter.

A good place to start is by attending the upcoming state convention. If you are not registered yet get online and do it. I am looking forward to seeing record numbers at Branson, Mo. We will all have a great time.
