President’s Message
Fellow Members:
I would really like to thank al the folks that made the first annual picnic and rousing success. In spite of the
weather it turned out really great. This months meeeting will be held at the Ramada Inn in attendance with the
AOPA Air Safety Foundation. The subject will be Single Pilot IFR. Colonel Robinson has agreed to reschedule for
Nov. meeting for his presentation. The Air Derby will be held this month on Sept. 28, and the people that will
participate are to be at hte Sedalia Airport between 9:30 and 10:00 to get their packet for the participating Airports.
Lunch will be at the Lebanon Airport around noon. We will host the Oct meeting with 3 other chapters we expect
to have between 60 to 80 in attendence. We ought to have a really good time. Well, time to close for now, see you
all at he AOPA meeting.

This month's MPA Chapter meeting is Tuesday September 17TH at the Ramada Inn 2820 N. Glenstone Avenue, Springfield,
MO. (No dinner meeting this month at the Café SGF.)
This is an Aviation Safety Education Seminar sponsored by AOPA's Air Safety Foundation. Time is 7:00 to 9:00 P.M.
Program: Single Pilot IFR. Located in the Missouri 1 Room.
