Past Events:
Super Safety Seminar: The 28th annual St. Louis and Southern Illinois Super Safety Seminar was held Saturday, January 25, 2003. The location was the Anheuser-Busch Auditorium, St. Louis University. Along with the other interesting speakers, Bruce Landsberg of the AOPA AIR Safety Foundation spoke on the safety challenges in general aviation. A good size crowd enjoyed a very informative program.

FIRC: The 33rd Annual Flight Instructors Revalidation Clinic presented by our Association was held on February 22nd and 23rd at Parks College on the campus of St. Louis University. The knowledgeable speak-ers presented interesting and essential information. We owe a special thanks to the Clinic Director Bob Meder, Co-director Jeff Edwards, the assistance of Fred Harms of the FSDO, the presenters and the vol-unteer members for the hard work and dedication that went into making the clinic a success. A one year membership in the Association was included in the FIRC registration fee.

Return Membership Data Sheets: A preprinted Membership Data Sheet was sent along with the new membership cards to anyone that had not provided a new data sheet. These data sheets serve two purposes. You verify the data that we have in our database and secondly, by returning them, you authorize the inclu-sion of your information in the pocket directory which will be published next month. Please return these Member Data Sheets by March 15th. We cannot include your information in the pocket directory unless we have a current data sheet authorization on file.

Last Newsletter for Members not Renewed: Anyone that has not renewed their membership for 2003 will be deleted from the rolls before the publishing of the next newsletter. During the first week of March a "last chance for renewal" letter will be sent to members that were current for 2002 but have not renewed for 2003. Please return a $20 check with the Membership Data Sheet enclosed with the letter by March 15, 2003 to be included in the pocket directory.
