Fly-Out to Malden
(MAW), the largest general aviation airport in the State of Missouri. It was once an Air Force Base and was turned
over to the City after World War II. For those of us who enjoyed Dennis McGarity speak last month the Missouri
Agricultural Association is holding a spray test clinic for those in the business and all are invited to come watch
how they do their job. They are starting at the crack of dawn, we will arrive close to the end of the clinic in
time to see a demonstration and then the fish fry feast which the MO Ag Association is gracious enough to host
at no cost to us. Be sure to show your appreciation and thank them. Gather at Jetcorp 1015 depart by 1030. I MUST
have a head count by the week of April 8th. You can back out if you can't make it but DON'T just show up. They
need a head count for the free lunch. Call Jaime Dant at 314 352-3983 if you plan to join us.

April 20th

Second Annual Youth Aviation Day at Spirit Airport.
The MPA will again be assisting EAA with their Young Eagles Program. Last year over 200 kids got their first ride
in an airplane, flying from SUS to Six Flags and back.
All enjoyed the free Hot Dogs & Soda, checking out the aircraft on display, etc. Volunteers are
needed. Call Richard at 636-458-4576 or Click the Button below to Volunteer even if you can only spare even part
of the day.
Click any of the logos to see what is was like last year as well as
information about Erik Lindbergh recreating his grandfather's flight to Paris. You didn't get to see Charles Lindbergh
fly from St Louis to New York in the Spirit of St Louis but you will get to see Erik Lindbergh depart SUS for New
York for this historic trip. The Saint Louis Science Center will be Mission Control and Spirit Airport will be
Operations HQ.
