Mark Your Calendar
for August 9th. Not our usual meeting day but time for our Annual Barbecue and Picnic. This Saturday meeting will
held at Washington Airport (MO6) from1100 to 1500 with food being served at 1230. Drive In or Fly In! A tasty lunch
will be prepared for you by St Louis Chapter Members. Wine, beer and soda will be available for purchase. Wine
& Beer for Drive-Ins only who should take EITHER I-44 to Exit 251; follow Highway 100 to SR-47, cross the bridge
and take a right onto Airport Road; OR take SR-94 to SR-47 and go Left a short distance on SR-47. See the maps
below.

Our August flyout will be for BBQ at We-B Smokin restaurant at Miami County Airport (K81).

August 23th
All aviation enthusiasts are invited to drive or fly-in. The 20,000 sq.ft. Zenith
Aircraft kit production facilities will be open to the public for factory tours and Zenith's factory-demonstrator
kit aircraft will be on display. Food & refreshments will be available on the field.

Labor Day Weekend
Volunteers are needed to help at the St Louis Fair & AirShow on Labor Day Weekend. September 13th
The Gateway Eagles of Missouri Tenth Anniversary Fly-In will be on Saturday, September 13, 2003, at the St. Louis Downtown Airport (CPS). There will be airplane rides for up to 100 pre-registered youth between the ages of eleven and seventeen. There will be static displays, flight simulators, food and drinks, and a paper airplane contest with prizes for youth ages ten and under. As in the past, MPA members are welcome to participate.
