February 5th

John Fuller, who enjoys speaking about sever weather and the technology behind his forecasting, will be our guest speaker. John joined KSDK's team of meteorologists in June 1983 and is the senior member of the Weather Team.

Prior to joining NewsChannel 5, John was weekend meteorologist for WJIM-TV in Lansing, Michigan. During the week he worked as an air quality meteorologist for the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, comparing industries' air pollution to state and federal health standards.

John is credited with the American Meteorological Society's Seal of Approval. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in meteorology from Pennsylvania State University, where he began his broadcasting career as a weather forecaster for the campus radio station.

John is married and has two children. He and his family reside in West County.

February 15th

Flyout to Farmington MO (FAM) where we will visit the Martin Clardy House Resturant & Tea Room for a 'dignified' lunch at a peacefull elegant oasis. You must notify Jaime Dant (314-352-3983 or jaimed@yahoo.com) or Carol Weber (636-458-2529 or caroljweber@mindspring.com) of the head count in your party by February 12th since they have to arrange for transportation from the airport to the restaurant. Fly-outs are VFR (5000 ft and 5 miles 15kt winds). Check with flight service or call Jaime or Carol. If IFR on the 15th we will fly-out on February 16th to a surprise location since the Martin Clardy House is closed on Sunday.
