Winners Announced & Depart for Home

Ante is $20 and includes 1 Flour Bomb. Ante up as many times as you would like. High hand gets 1/2 the pot, other half goes to MPA. Flour Drop winner gets $40, Second Place gets $10.

May 5th

Dick Hrabko and John Bales of Spirit of St Louis Airport will be our guest speakers. It has been over four years since Dick and John were our guests and a lot has happened at Spirit Airport since then. Won't you join us and hear what Dick and John have to say as well as responding to any questions you may have.

In case you forgot, John and Dick filled in at the last moment for Hubert Looney who was not able to be our guest speaker because Hubert was injured when he made a forced landing while flying for Wings of Hope during his vacation. He was bringing medical supplies to South America. He suffered broken ribs, a broken collarbone and severe bruises. Fortunately he recovered very quickly.

Social Hour at 1800; Dinner at 1900; Dick & John will make their presentation at 2000. Reservations are needed. Please email to RSVP@MoPilots.US or call Barb Lane at 636-391-2668 by Monday, May 3rd.

May 15th

Fly-Out to Casey IL (1H8). We will lunch at Richard's Farm. Plan arrival at 1H8 for noon lunch. Transportation to the restaurant will be provided.

Reminder: You must notify Carol Weber (636-458-2529 or Carol@MoPilots.US) of the head count in your party by May 14th since she has to arrange for transportation from the airport to the restaurant. Fly outs are Very VFR (5000 ft and 5 miles). Check with flight service or call Carol.

The weather finally did cooperate on April 17th for a Fly-Out to Dexter (DXE) for ribs at the Hickory Log Restaurant. Seven of our planes graced the ramp at Dexter. The owners of the restaurant drove two vans to pick us all up.

Name Tags on sturdy heavy plastic that can be worn with a clip or lanyard are now available for $5. They are in full color and very durable since the graphics are imbedded in the plastic vs. being printed on the plastic. You can even use them as ice scrapers!
