Skydiving!

Did you ever want to jump out of your airplane?

 

No? Well, come and hear our speaker for May and she will tell you how she became a skydiver.

Tamara Koyn made her first jump in 1983 and has been a free style skydiving pioneer since 1985, a veteran of approximately 3,000 free style jumps. Tamara earned her Bachelor of Fine arts degree in teaching dance with movement science background and Media Communications: Film/Video production from Webster University in 1991, which she applies to Freestyle Skydiving. She has published the first books and video on this discipline; has been a freestyle coach since 1988 in the US, Australia, and Europe; and 4 time medalist ( 92 World Champion) in World Competition.

 

Tamara started judging skydiving competitions in 1993. Tamara is currently a FAI (Federation Aeronautique Internationale) skydiving judge, currently judging international competitions, including recently formation skydiving last year in Maubeuge, France and Artistic events this year in Czech Republic.

Skydiving introduced Tamara to general aviation and she passed her private pilot check ride in January 2006.

Tamara will present how she became involved with skydiving and video images of her graceful freestyle skydiving including aeronautical decision making involved with skydiving.

COMBINED ANNUAL MEETING, BRANSON, MO

The country's top air show performers, including the USAF Thunderbirds, US Army Golden Knights, Aeroshell Aerobatic Team, Manfred Radius, Patty Wagstaff, John Klatt (Air National Guard) and many more, will provide stunning displays of aerial acrobatics at this must-see event.

The show will also feature B-17, B-25, P-51 Mustang, Sea Fury, P-47, and Corsair static displays in addition to a concert from a to-be-determined performer.

Our convention in Branson will be our official Fly-Out for May but if are interested in another Fly-Out, at our last Fly Out to Fulton (FTT) on April 11th, we were issued a special invitation to come to the Fulton Breakfast Fly IN on May 16th, 8am - Noon.
