November 5th


Andy Anderson will be our guest speaker on Wednesday, November 5th. Andy built a Breezy and flew it out of Weiss (3WE) for many years. The Breezy was not a kit plane – you only got the plans and had to make all the parts yourself. The big advantage of the Breezy was that you never had to clean the bugs off the windscreen – you just went home and took a bath!

We'll be at the Greenbriar Country Club, 12665 Big Bend Boulevard. Social Hour at 1800; Dinner at 1900; at 2000 Andy will share the experiences he had building and flying the Breezy.

November 12th



Ornament Making Party will be on November 12th at 6PM at Gary and Jo Ann Johnson’s, 745 Josephine Ave., Glendale, MO.

Come for pizza and creation of the custom chapter ornament for 2003!

November 22nd

The November Fly-Out is to Grand Glaze (K15) on Saturday November 22nd for the Annual Shopping Spree at Lake of the Ozarks. Transportation will be provided from the airport to the outlet mall. Plan on arriving at K15 at 1100. Interested persons should call Carol at 636-458-2529 or email her at Carol@Mopilots.us by November 19th.

Congratulations

Congratulations to Ken Gleich & Carol Weber placing 1st & 3rd out of a field of 35 pilots
in the State MPA Poker Run, flying to 5 airports on a very windy day.
October flyout is to Hannibal (HAE) for the Hannibal Historic Folk Festival.

Thanks to all who flew out to Fort Leonard Wood and Greenville last month to enjoy a wonderful day plus helping to make their events a great success. The weather was perfect both days. Special thanks to the Army at Fort Leonard Wood for feeding us for free!



Name Tags

Name Tags on sturdy heavy plastic that can be worn with a clip or lanyard are now available for $5. They are in full color and very durable since the graphics are imbedded in the plastic vs. being printed on the plastic. You can even use them as ice scrapers!
