Jackie is the pilot who flies the Harrier at the St Louis County Fair & AirShow. Jackie was our guest speaker several years ago. If you were at that meeting we know you will want to be at this meeting. If you missed him last time you missed a great meeting - come see for yourself why he has been asked to return.

Plan to arrive at the Greenbriar anytime after 1800 but before 1900 when we sit down for dinner. If you can't make it for dinner you are welcome to join us at 2000 for Jackie's presentation followed by our regular meeting. Reservations for dinner are required. Please call Bette Wilbers at 225-4140 if you will be joining us for dinner. It would be appreciated if you don't wait until the last minute to make your reservation. Thank you.

October 3rd

Mount Vernon Airport in Illinois is having a Fly-In.
Glider Rides, Parachute Buddy Jumps, Ultralights, Antiques

Free food and drinks for pilots and passengers!

Rain Day, Sunday, October 4

October 10th - 11th

Fly-Out to Point Lookout (PLK) in Branson MO on Saturday. Meet at JetCorp at noon for a 1215 departure. After checking into a motel the group will take in a show and enjoy the fine dining in the area.

On Sunday morning the group will depart for Springfield (SGF) for breakfast, visit the Bass Pro Shop.

If you do not wish to make the overnight trip to Branson but would like to fly down to Springfield on Sunday you are most welcome to join the group when they arrive at SGF.

October 20th

Safety Seminar at Lindbergh High School, 4900 South Lindberg.
The program starts at 1900 but please plan to arrive around 1830. Fred Harms of the St Louis FSDO will conduct the seminar. His topics will be Runway Incursions and Weather Avoidance Equipment. The seminar is not restricted to members of the Missouri Pilots Association so please feel free to bring a friend.
