Labor Day Weekend

Renaissance Man of the Air
Sgt. Hubert Looney
Pilots
tend to be interesting and multidimensional people. Our October speaker is that and more. During his 23 years with
the Missouri State Highway Patrol, many of those years with the Flight Operations Division, Hubert Looney has seen
and done many interesting things. You may have caught him on television in his current role as Public Information
and Education Officer for the Patrol. As a Wings of Hope volunteer, he serves as Flight Operations Administrator.
Hubert also devotes a goodly amount of time to the Gateway Eagles, a group of area pilots who mentor high school
students and promote the value of education toward a flying career. And throw in for good measure, his recent stint
as ambassador for the Art Museum on a trip to a St. Louis Sister City in Africa. Come join us for a fascinating
event. Reservations Required. Call Ron Hyken at
636-530-7651. Location is the Greenbriar Country Club on Big Bend just off I-270. Social at 6PM, Dinner at 7PM,
Program at 8PM.
