Our guest speaker for the October meeting will be Gary Liming, BS Physics, MS Aviation Safety. Gary who has made a hobby of aircraft instrumentation is a private pilot, and a member of the MPA who has built his own CH801 (4 seat high wing STOL airplane).

His topic for our meeting will be From Steam to Glass, a brief history of aircraft instrumentation from the Wright Brothers to Glass Cockpits. This will include a pictorial survey of the development and usage of aircraft instrumentation, including flight instruments navigation instruments and IFR instrumentation.

Our private room opens up at 1800 with Dinner ($18/person) being served at 1900. Our guest speaker's presentation will be around 2000. We will meet at the Sunset Lakes Banquet Center 13366 W. Watson Road in Sappington, MO 63127.
