The Liberty Belle B-17 will be in St Louis at the Spirit of St Louis Airport ( Million Air FBO) and available for a unique flight experience opportunity. The Liberty Belle is a beautiful newly restored and award-winning B-17 Flying Fortress bomber, the most famous bomber of WWII. This historic aircraft flies today as a tribute to the courage and commitment of all those who served our country so valiantly. This opportunity to take a flight in this historic bomber is made available by The Liberty Foundation Inc. The Liberty Foundation is a Non-Profit 501(C)3.
Get to see this B-17 up close, take pictures, etc. You can even fly on a mission in Liberty Belle and experience the sights and sounds of this historic bomber. You'll receive a pre-flight briefing, listen to crew communications, enjoy a scenic tour around the St Louis area from all crew positions, and have the chance following the flight to ask questions and take photographs.
The cost of a flight experience is $390 for Foundation members and $430 for non-members. Become a Liberty Foundation member for $40 and receive the member discount for family and friends. There are (9) passenger seats per flight. Bring six (8) friends for a flight, and receive your seat free.
The Liberty Belle was built to do exactly one thing and not a single rivet deviates from that intent, yet it has been converted by human ingenuity and determination into a vessel that bridges understanding between generations. It's an old bomber with a new mission.

Hopefully the weather in September will be better than it has been for our prior fly-out to FTT that was canceled several times.
The September Fly Out will be held on Saturday, September 20th to Fulton, MO (FTT). We'll have an early lunch at a really good restaurant named Beks. Then take our rental transportation to the Winston Churchill Memorial and Library located on the campus of Westminster College. This is the site of Churchill's famous Iron Curtain speech. The memorial was founded in 1969 to honor the life and legacy of one of the greatest leaders of the 20th century. It is housed within the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Aldermanbury, a 12th century church, redesigned by Sir Christopher Wren in 1677. The church was relocated to Fulton from the middle of London. Cost: Adults - $6.00, seniors, AAA, AARP - $5.00.
Since we will be leaving from the airport and need transportation, it is definitely necessary to know how many people we will have join us. Please plan your arrival by 1100 since we will have lunch at 1130 before going to the Winston Churchill Memorial. Let Sue Smith know if you will be joining us. Call her at 636 274.3663 or send her an email.
